Wednesday is an American coming of age supernatural horror comedy television series based upon the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, it stars Jenna Ortega as the titular character, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Gwendoline Christie appearing in supporting roles. Four out of the eight episodes are directed by Tim Burton, who also serves as executive producer.

Wednesday Addams investigates a murder spree while making new friends — and foes — at Nevermore Academy

After being expelled from high school for trying to kill her brother Pugsley's bullies, Wednesday Addams starts attending Nevermore Academy, a school for monstrous misfits once attended by her parents, Gomez and Morticia. Struggling to fit in with her contemporaries and coming to grips with her psychic abilities, Wednesday becomes witness to several murders committed by a strange monster.While attending Nevermore Academy, Wednesday Addams attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a killing spree and solve the mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago.
